Employee Benefit Plan Audits

Employers with more than 100 eligible participants and who provide qualifying employee benefits may be required to undergo annual audits of their plans’ financial statements under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). Performed by an independent qualified public accountant (IQPA), the Form 5500 filing examines schedules and financial statements in preparation of an audit report that declares the plan conforms with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

As an independent qualified public accountant, AbitOs has performed such audits of employers’ 401(k), 403(b) and Profit Sharing plans countless times.

Our team’s experience deploying the latest software applications, we ensure audits are performed without under- or over-auditing each client’s unique situation.
